Legal Structure
Nordic Legal operates as an international group consisting of several legally separate entities.
Nordic Legal Advokatanpartsselskab in Denmark is a law firm regulated by the Danish Bar and Law Society.
Nordic Legal in Finland is a law firm regulated under Finnish law.
Other entities, including Nordic Legal Sweden and Nordic Gambling, are not law firms and do not provide legal services as regulated law firms. These entities are not subject to the rules governing legal practice or supervision by the Danish Bar and Law Society.
The information set out below applies solely to Nordic Legal Advokatanpartsselskab (Denmark).

Regulatory Status
Nordic Legal Advokatanpartsselskab is licensed by the Danish Civil Affairs Agency (Civilstyrelsen) and is a member of the Danish Bar and Law Society (company no. 83890).
Professional Indemnity Insurance and Guarantee
Nordic Legal Advokatanpartsselskab has taken out professional indemnity insurance and provided a guarantee in accordance with the rules of the Danish Bar and Law Society. The insurance covers all legal services provided by Nordic Legal Advokatanpartsselskab, regardless of where such services are carried out.

Terms of Business
Information regarding any choice of law and jurisdiction clauses, as well as the use of general terms of business, is provided in the engagement letter entered into with the client.
Legal Aid and Insurance Coverage
Clients will be informed of the possibility of obtaining public legal aid or legal expenses insurance coverage.
Where fees are wholly or partially covered by public funding or insurance, the client will, at the outset of the matter, be informed of the principles governing the calculation of fees and the potential financial implications, including any deductible or costs not covered.
Complaints
Clients may submit complaints regarding legal advice and fees to the Danish Disciplinary Board (Advokatnævnet).
